Welcome to Appleton Soap Company.

Hello, my name is Claire and I am a small business owner based in Hemsby, Norfolk, UK.  I specialise in luxury handmade soaps, solid shampoo bars and body products.
Founded during the Covid 19 pandemic from a home schooling activity with my children, the love of soap making began.
I have developed my recipes to offer the highest quality products for customers to use themselves or buy to give as gifts.  
I am passionate about our planet therefore take pride in offering zero-waste (recyclable / biodegradable) packaging on all our products.

Our Products

SOAP BARS 
My soap bars are handmade in small batches using the cold
process method. 

All ingredients have been selected to benefit your skin,
creating a long lasting bar with a luxurious bubbly lather which is suitable for all skin types. 
Unlike commercially made soaps, I do not remove the naturally occurring Glycerin. Instead, its moisturising properties are left in the soaps to provide your skin with the upmost hydration. 

SOLID SHAMPOO BARS
My Solid Shampoo Bars are 100% soap free and contain no plastics. They are created from high-quality, naturally derived ingredients, which are also pH balanced, eliminating the need for a 'transition period' or ‘acidic rinse’ which is typically associated with soap-based shampoo bars 
 A little goes a long way, you only need a few strokes over wet hair to produce a luxurious lather.

LUXURY BODY CREAMS 
My Luxury Body Creams are specially formulated with a fast absorbing blend of nourishing oils and butters, with Calendula & Chamomile extracts to deeply moisturise, nourish, and soothe your skin. They are naturally rich in essential fatty acids including Omega 3, Omega 6, and Omega 9, as well as Pro-vitamin A and Vitamin E, which allows them to be suitable for all skin types.

Due to the handmade nature of my products, they can vary in size, colour, shape and pattern, which makes them all unique.

All products are wrapped in recyclable or biodegradable eco packaging. 

All products are Vegan Friendly, Cruelty Free and also Paraben and SLS Free.

COSMETIC SAFETY APPROVED
You can be confident that you are purchasing a safe and quality assured product. I hold CPSRs (Cosmetic Product Safety Reports) for all my formulations, which means they have been safety assessed by a chartered chemist to ensure my formulas are mild and safe for use.
